Simon Cowell must not be paying Xtra Factor's Matt Richardson quite enough to treat co-host Caroline Flack to a slap up meal as he's finally decided to give it all up and pursue his dreams by actually auditioning on the show. Presumably deciding it's about time he tried to out-do Olly Murs at the whole singing thing and win Cazza Flazza's respect in the process, he's all set to take to the stage on this week's episode.
Here he is looking all tense at the prospect of showing Louis Walsh the goods. Not like that.
Obviously no X Factor audition has any real chance of having some impact without a good sob story to back it up and in order to give himself the best shot possible, Matt came equipped with a nice, emotional tale of his own.
