With The X Factor officially back on our screens for its tenth series, we've been wondering where the ruddy hell last year's winner James Arthur's been hiding. We've already had music from fellow alumni-types Union J and Jahmene Douglas, but after Jarthur cancelled his appearance at the Virgin Media V Festival t'other week we were starting to fear the worst.
But guess what? Our guitar-strumming fave's only gone and chucked a snippet of his actual proper first single You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You on the internet, hasn't he? And it's sounding HEAVENLY.
Now we all know James has been defying all X Factor stereotypes and hooking up with loads of totes credible music-y peeps...and it shows. You're Nobody 'Til Somebody Loves You is less Shayne Ward's That's My Goal and more John Newman Northern Soul-type coolness. Like, there's some trumpeting, some funny blippy noises and a chanty 'Oh-oh-oh-ohhhh' bit.
