After spending what feels like an eternity on the UK version of X Factor being the strict dad type who occasionally finds the biggest pop stars in the world - it seems that now he's *actually* going to be a father combined, he's gone a bit loopy.
Maybe it's because Louis Walsh isn't on the panel to make everyone laugh over some ridiculous comment but for some reason it looks like Syco is after a more comedic role this season on the X Factor USA - especially if the first ruddy episode's anything to go by.

X Factor premiered it's third season in America this week and even though us Brits won't get to see it until a little later (September 20th for all you fact fans) the news has travelled quickly that *the* Simon Cowell had a bit of a singsong - with actual backing track. SAY WHAAA?
