The X Factor's Abi Alton talks nerves, Louis Walsh twerking and sob stories - Watch

When supermarket 18-year-old checkout worker and floral headwear enthusiast Abi Alton faced the judges in THE ROOM on Saturday night's The X Factor, it was pretty obvious that she was well nervous about the whole thing. And with good reason - being stood a few metres away from Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne, Gary Barlow and Nicole Scherzinger would probably leave The Rock cacking himself, wouldn't it?

But the Middlesborough lass didn't let her nerves get to her, blowing the judges away (yup) with her totes emosh acoustic rendition of Dixie Chris' Travelling Soldier. And while Gary told her she was just what the show needed, Jedward mastermind Louis Walsh needed a bit of convincing.

So just how did Abs manage to win over Louis with her second audition? And which judge would she most like to be stranded on a desert island with? Well we caught up with her for a chinwag to find out this and so, so much more. Hooray.

Check out our chat with Abi below.
