Way back at the end of 2012, Cheryl Cole decided she was pretty dang peed off about being booted off the X Factor USA judging panel, and thought that actually, she needed about £1.4 million in compensation for the trauma of the whole thing.
AH YA JORKEN UZ PET, YA CANNY RECKON ‘AL SIMON COWELL’S GUNA GIVE YA THAT MUCH, HAWAY MAN. Errr, basically that means that no one really thought she’d win that much from the show, but in a dramatic turn of events, Chezza won the case this week. CRIKEY.
Cheryl was let go from the show before filming had even properly got under way (yep that’s right, she didn’t actually do ANYTHING for all this money), but she claimed that she’d signed a ‘Pay or Play’ contract, meaning she’d get $1.8 million for the first season and $2 million for the second, even if she didn't appear on the programme.
