The X Factor's been no stranger to controversy in its time, has it? Whether it's James Arthur's Twitter tirades, Eoghan-Quigg-running-on-when-Diana-Vickers-got-chucked-off gate or...er...Steve Brookstein actually winning, there's always something going down.
And now, as Simon Cowell announces his return to the UK judging panel (hoorah), actor-type Chris O'Dowd's kicked off deeming the show 'racist'. Uh oh.
Basically, Chris claimed that although he's a 'big fan' of everyone's fave telly talent show, 'the viewing public is so racist, all the black, strong singers go out in round five every year.' And d'ya know what? Uncle Si is NAHT happy about it.
