Britain's Got Talent judges talk buzzers and boybands at the London auditions - Watch

If you've been suffering telly talent show withdrawls ever since Sam Bailey nabbed The X Factor crown last Christmas, WORRY NOT. Britain's Got Talent's gonna be back on our screens ridiculously soon, and this time there's a new twist in the form of the golden buzzer. Can we get an 'ooh' and an 'aah'?

Said shiny golden buzzer thingamajig allows each judge to put one act straight through to the live shows...but what if it meant they could banish anything or anyone from the world forever, eh? That's what you're wondering, innit? Well we caught up with BGT judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, David Walliams and Amanda Holden (and Ant and Dec, obvs) to find out.

Simon Cowell blasts 'ignorant' Chris O'Dowd after he claims The X Factor audience is 'racist'

The X Factor's been no stranger to controversy in its time, has it? Whether it's James Arthur's Twitter tirades, Eoghan-Quigg-running-on-when-Diana-Vickers-got-chucked-off gate or...er...Steve Brookstein actually winning, there's always something going down.

And now, as Simon Cowell announces his return to the UK judging panel (hoorah), actor-type Chris O'Dowd's kicked off deeming the show 'racist'. Uh oh.

Basically, Chris claimed that although he's a 'big fan' of everyone's fave telly talent show, 'the viewing public is so racist, all the black, strong singers go out in round five every year.' And d'ya know what? Uncle Si is NAHT happy about it.

Why Simon Cowell should bring Kelly Rowland back to the British X Factor

I must admit when I heard that The X Factor USA was getting axed it shocked me but although it means Kelly Rowland will no longer be a judge on the show, it also means that she is free to return to The X Factor UK, and I think Simon should definitely bring her back. Kelly has just the charismatic personality that The X Factor UK needs Kelly made her debut on the British show, and I loved ...

When Kingsland Road were doing their thang on The X Factor a few months back, they were desperate not to hit a bum nots. Since then, though, everything's changed - 'cause they've only gone and got their arses properly out at the Monuments Men UK premiere.

Yup - the lads hit the red carpet in London's Leicester Square last night and started arsing about alongside the likes of actual George Clooney and fellow fit person Matt Damon. At first, all seemed normal - oh hey, just an above average-looking boyband standing about looking pretty...

Not only did the boys get their toned little tushes out, but they even got handy with a biro and wrote their name on the bloody cheeks. They could probs have done with another just to properly fit the 'Rd.' on, though, but we're not complaining.
