It's hard to imagine The X Factor before Nicole Scherzinger sassily sacheted onto set in a frenzy of massive hair, 'sch' words and z-snapping, innit? But it actually happened (1D were pre-Scherzy, remember them?) - and if Simon Cowell's typically-crypic tweets are anything to go by it sounds like she could be leaving the judging panel this year.
There are gazillions of rumours surrounding 2014's line-up - is Cheryl Cole coming back, will Ethel from down the road be a mystery fifth judge etc. etc? - and now everyone reckons Scherzy's qutting after two years to focus on the singing thing.
