Never to let a scandal, or pretty much anything really, get in the way of some Syco promotion, Simon Cowell shrugged off this whole baby rumour scandal the whole world's losing their minds about and attended an X Factor USA press conference with his fellow judges like nothing's even ruddy happened.
Yep, Simon joined Demi, Kelly and Paula in LA for a chat about the new season of the show, but of course the topic was bound to shift to Uncle Si and the possibility that he's about to become a baby daddy - which was handled the only way Simon knew how, with a dad joke of course. OH THE IRONY.
When asked whether the The X Factor's scheduling would be affected now that he may be taking on a new job as a full time father, Simon joked: "I really haven't read the newspapers. Did I miss anything?"
We bet he'd been working on that one for a while.
