X Factor's Lydia Lucy slams musical chairs twist: 'It's one of the hardest things emotionally I've ever been through'

Bums were on the edges of seats up and down the country last night after the X Factor judges revealed a new twist to the bootcamp stage of the show - musical chairs. It wasn't exactly the party game we know and love either and after a ridiculous amount of tension, it ended up with Nicole Scherzinger swapping three of her original picks for the girls category for three different singers.

One of those who lost out was the awesome Lydia Lucy, who it's fair to say seems pretty devastated to have been replaced by rival Abi Alton at the last moment.

Having sung a pretty stonking audition and been rewarded with a place in the final six, we pretty much fell off the sofa in shock when Nicole decided to swap her in favour of Abi at the last minute. We're not the only ones either and 20-year-old Lucy has spoken out about what she makes of the show's decision to add such a shocker of a twist.
