So in case you've happened to have missed all the drama that just unfolded on the telly approximately 15 seconds ago, it's been revealed that Lorna Simpson is the first X Factor contestant of 2013 to be voted off of the show. GAH.
But not before a dramatic sing-off with Shelley Smith, who managed to avoid the chop and will no doubt come back fighting next week. Probably because they always say that afterwards.
For her last chance performance, Shelley belted the massive ballad One Night Only and properly gave it her all, if we may steal a classic X Factor cliche. But although Lorna didn't hold back either, obviously it wasn't enough to keep her place in the competition.
