When we found out this weeks's X Factor theme was The Great British Songbook, we had a gazillion and one ideas floating round our little heads for the remaining acts. Rough Copy putting their own twist on Steps' 5, 6, 7, 8, maybe? Sam Callahan doing Adam Rickitt's I Breathe Again (Anyone? No? Just us?) sans shirt, perhaps?
Well it seems the contestants have other, slightly more 'credible' ideas - the bloody spoilsports. Yep - forget Bob the Builder and S Club 7, 'cause this week's all about the big ballads and LEGENDARY British acts.
So what songs are we gonna be hearing with our ears and seeing with our eyes this Saturday night, then? Er...it's these, innit?
