It's probably fair to say that, here in the UK, One Direction are moderately successful. Midnight Memories is looking set to hold onto the number one spot in the album chart *and* Story of my Life is hanging on in there like Steve Brookstein clinging onto that X Factor dream and NEVER. LETTING. GO.
So it's probs gonna come as no surprise that our boys have just made US chart history, becoming the first band to debut at number one with their first three albums. Yup - that's something not even The Beatles, The Monkees or Same Difference have managed. Wah.
