Ever since he left The X Factor UK for the American version back in 2010, there's been rumours that Simon Cowell will be returning to our shores - and now it seems more likely than ever, after reports that he's signed a £25 million deal with ITV.
TWENTY. FIVE. MILLION. Imagine how many babygrows he'll be able to buy with THAT stash of cash.
In fact, this deal would make Si the highest paid entertainer ever, and will apparently be triggered if and when he is released from his X Factor USA contract.
The contract is said to cover both The X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, with an ITV clause stipulating that if The X Factor USA is recommissioned with Simon as a judge, he'll only get half of the UK cash. Hmmm.
A source close to Simon said: “ITV are preparing for him to return to the UK X Factor and BGT so have structured the deal to take in both shows.
