Simon Cowell to launch new teatime quiz show 'Keep It In The Family' later this year

As if Simon Cowell hadn’t already controlled our teleboxes enough over the past few years, it would seem that he’s officially plotting to take over the entire world, as he’s only gone and created a brand new show to invade our living rooms with.

To go alongside the X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, Simon has apparently set his sights on launching a new TV programme to take over our lives with, in the form of a family-aimed quiz show called Keeping It In The Family. OOH and AHH.

According to The Sun, Uncle Si is said to have been scheming like Mr Burns mixed with Dr Evil for almost an entire year to create the perfect new show. It’s set to be aired at teatime to try and bring back the ol’ quality family time, and a source spilled that: "It's very family-focused like the Generation Game but has a fresh feel."

We can only hope this means that contestants get given wobbly wooden versions of One Direction as their taking-part prize.
