Lucy Spraggan: 'James Arthur is not a homophobe'

Despite that rather catty spat that took place on Twitter last week, it turns out that X Factor's Lucy Spraggan isn't too pleased at the public backlash James Arthur has faced either and she's spoken out to say that despite using that slur in a rap battle, she doesn't actually think he's homophobic.

The hoo-hah between the pair all became rather public after Lucy posted some texts from James that showed him getting his knickers in a bit of a twist. Having been publically slammed for use of the word 'queer' in a rap battle by all sorts of celebs, he didn't seem all too pleased with Lucy for speaking out about it either.

But while Lucy wanted to highlight the issue as a problem, she's spoken out to say that she didn't intend it to be taken in a way that made James seem homophobic.
