As if gearing up for The X Factor to come back on our screens isn't enough to get us all excited about our favourite thing ever - singing competition shows, obviously - now The Voice USA is starting to hype up its own return which kicks off for those lucky Yanks in Autumn.
But taking our excitement into scary territory, there's been a big celeb based announcement about the new season, and it involves our most treasured ginger import - and it ain't Geri Halliwell.
Ed Sheeran has apparently signed up to be The Voice judge Christina Aguilera's advisor during the incredible Battle Rounds on the show. Yep, Edward and Xtina teaming up. Together. As a team. IT'S MENTAL.
According to The Huffington Post, Ed will be acting as Christina's advisor during the extra tough round to lend a helping hand when it comes to training up guitar strumming crooners and wannabe pop princesses. We can already hear the awkward silences.
